SOLUBILITY: ( Oil and Alchocol ).However, the powder's solubility in standard carrier oils is quite low.usually only around 2 g per 100 g of oil. If you mix more than this, the acid will not dissolve. It will just sink to the bottom as gritty pieces
To dissolve salicylic acid powder completely, it is much easier to use a glycol solvent like Propylene Glycol or Propanediol
Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid that occurs as a natural compound in plants.
