Formulation Guidelines

  • Botanical Name: Citrus limon
  • Usage Rate: 1% – 5% in leave-on formulations (serums, toners, creams); up to 10% in wash-off products (powder masks, cleansers).

  • Solubility: Water-soluble.

  • Incorporation: Dissolve easily into the water phase of your formulation. For heated emulsions, add during the cool-down phase (below 40°C / 104°F) to prevent the degradation of heat-sensitive Vitamin C and active enzymes. Can also be blended directly into dry powder bases.

  • Appearance: Fine, pale yellow powder with a mild, tart citrus scent.
